The Tuberous Breast Correction You Deserve

Dr. Furnas and Dr. Canales

Every woman has a unique vision of what she wants from her breast enhancement. That's why Dr. Canales and I take the time to learn about each woman's specific goals for Santa Rosa tuberous breast correction surgery. We then create a customized plan tailored to the woman's anatomy, aesthetic preferences, and special concerns.

We have performed many tuberous breast correction surgeries with outstanding results. We also have extensive experience performing nipple correction surgery, achieving balanced, natural looking nipples and breasts. Women who come to us from Sonoma, Marin, and Napa include breast augmentation to enhance their final breast shape as well. Our synchronized teamwork and innovative surgical techniques provide you with minimal operating time and a shorter, smoother recovery.

We offer the latest options for women considering tuberous breast and nipple correction surgery. At our Santa Rosa practice, our goal is to deliver beautiful results while treating you as a friend or family member rather than just as a patient.

Tuberous Breast and Nipple Correction Surgery at a Glance

Purpose: To reshape tuberous breasts, which usually have a narrow base, with breast tissue that may appear constricted. The areola and sometimes the nipple are very large, and the area where the breast is attached to the chest wall (the inframammary fold) exceptionally high. A long nipple that protrudes or an inverted nipple that has points inward can be also be corrected, usually as an isolated procedure under local anesthesia.
Procedure: Typically performed under a light general anesthesia, the surgeon makes internal incisions to release the tight breast tissues, making a larger space for an implant, rounding out the lower breast crease, and correcting enlarged and protruding areola and nipples.
Recovery: Most women can return to their regular routines within 1 to 2 weeks. Some women are ready to return to work in just a few days.
Results: Natural-looking, attractively shaped breasts, areolas, and nipples that are beautifully proportioned and the correct size for the individual woman's anatomy.
